This is Wabi Sabi Life, a newsletter about the beauty of ordinary life. I write from a Buddhist perspective about all things beautiful and everyday.
Japanese aesthetics has played an important part in my Buddhist practice (which is now 35 years old). In particular the beauty of the impermanence and ordinariness. To appreciate the awareness of everyday experience is what I try to capture. There will be a good amount of Dharma alongside elements of Japanese philosophy and probably a few haiku (which I try to write regularly). But also other things besides.
If I can help you look at life a little differently that will make me happy.
