Wabi Sabi Life is a Buddhist exploration of the imperfectly beautiful and unconventional. To access more in-depth content, audio meditations and creative offerings, please consider supporting me by becoming a paid subscriber for only £1.00 a week.
On the last day of the year I would like to share with you the Year Compass. I do this every year and look back over last year’s Compass. This is a great reflection on the year just gone by and the year ahead. It’s better than any other similar exercises I have ever done and I go back to each year to help take stock of what has happened and cast a glance ahead. It’s so well put together and asks the right questions to really help you get to the heart of things.
It takes about 30 minutes to complete effectively. So find a quiet place and a warm space and take up your pen…
Thank you for joining me this year. I have so much more to bring you in 2024. I love writing this column and it delights me that you read it. See you on the other side.
There are four different offerings of Wabi Sabi Life each month (one each week).
A monthly themed newsletter - some themes I am exploring include hope, doubt, harmony and wonder.
A regular audio reflection or meditation (for paid subscribers)
A creative prompt (for paid subscribers), something to unleash your self awareness and self expression.
A monthly ‘Scintilla’ newsletter - a round up of what’s on my cultural radar
If you are not already a paid subscriber, I hope this offering will tempt you to be so. It makes a world of difference to me.
If you can’t afford to subscribe but appreciate my writing you can buy me a coffee!
