I woke up in a warm bed listening to pouring rain. It’s still dark as the clocks went back. This evokes such feeling of comfort and safety against the elements, nothing else is quite like it. What simple experience brings such feelings to you?
Also something connected to rain. The smell that arises when it rains after a hot spell - I believe it's called 'petrichor'. To me it smells like chimney soot, not unpleasant, more welcoming.
