Summer’s End is such a wabi sabi time of year. Change is in the air. How does it make you feel? Keen for the warmth and wonder of autumn? Or sad that long hot days of summer are over? Do seasons have moods for you? What was your summer highlight or what is your autumn dream?
I have that back-to-school feeling, a sense of anticipation. Early autumn, with its ripening blackberries, abundant apples, conkers and just the glimmer of golden leaves is one of my favourite times of year. And my favourite time for cooking.
